THE EXPERIENCE

Hi there! Congratulations on your engagement and thank you for taking the time to browse my blog. You must be so excited and I bet ideas are zooming around in your head about what you envision your special day to be like!

YOU’RE IN GOOD HANDS

If you decide to book me as your wedding photographer, I can assure you that our journey together will be a fun and friendly one. I treat all of my brides (and grooms!) like friends and most of us become good friends afterwards. I am a perfectionist, so don’t be surprised by my hands-on approach of helping you sort out your wedding day timeline and giving you a few pointers on which service providers to consider. I’ve been in the industry for some time now and I love helping out where I can. Best of all.. my advice is free :)

NOT MY FIRST WALK IN THE PARK

I shot my first wedding in 2009 (on Valentine’s day) and that bug bit me good! I started following other wedding photographers and fell in love with the weddings that I saw on the Cape Townian’s blogs. I am originally from Mpumalanga and decided to make the move to Cape Town in December of 2010. That was the best decision of my life! I started out by assisting photographers like Christine Meintjes, Jean-Pierre Uys and Sybrand Cillie. I am currently enjoying my second wedding season in this beautiful city and I cannot wait to see what weddings God has in store for me!

LIGHT, LOVE & ROMANCE

I feel that two words describe my style of photography best. Light and Romance. I shoot 100% with natural light, only whipping out my flash during the reception and very dark ceremonies. I hate tacky wedding photos just as much as you and you won’t find any over processed images on my blog. I try and portray the ‘realness’ of your wedding to the best of my ability and my colors are mostly muted and soft to give you images that you will enjoy looking at for years to come.

I take my job very seriously and I have an immense passion for what I do! It would be a huge honor if you decide to book me as your Photographer!

xoxo
