She was named after the Savannah grasslands and even her hair is the same colour.
I met Savannah and Yuri three weeks before their wedding at the famous Old Mac Daddy venue and I immediately fell in love with them and their down to earth nature.
As we discussed details over some freshly squeezed juice, I realised that they were one of those couples. The rare ones. The ones who know what it’s all about.
Not knowing exactly how they were going to place the ceremony chairs or who was giving a speech when, wasn’t important. Those things would work themselves out. The important part was they were getting married. It was about them.
Everything about this wedding was a pleasure. The timeline was perfect. The weather started moody and turned out perfect.
The decor. Oh my goodness… the decor was perfect. I’m not the biggest fan of apples. The computer, yes. The fruit, no. But the trees around us were carrying an abundance of them and Rebecca and I found ourselves not only stealing photos of it but perhaps returning home with some physical evidence too! Apple juice, yes :)
One more thing that confirmed these were my kind of people… Following their honeymoon trip through the Kruger Park on Instagram. Need I say more?
